Let the record straight – I'm an absolute iPhone Geek! I love it and think it is simply the most innovative technological device of our generation. This may sound like a very strong statement hype overload.

But let me tell you about one of the ways that the iPhone is changing the lives of many people into something more another fashion technology.

Is everything on one massive innovation by Apple called App Store. The App Store has allowed software developers worldwide to begin developing their own applications to run on the iPhone and use its many wonderful features.

One such application, which recently I started using daily called RunKeeper. Very simple, RunKeeper is an iPhone application that is designed to provide the wonderful mountains of information and NASA as the telemetry on his jogging and working habits.

I recently started operation in great shape. In the last 6 months I ran a pair of 5K and 10K races and seems to be an exhilarating experience. I've always wondered while running past the 1K or 2K or, more likely, the 8k mark, the accuracy of the marks of the course are. Good with Run Keeper, I never ask again.

The best way to describe RunKeeper is compared with GPS systems that can take your car or been in someone elses car. RunKeeper allows you to accurately track the races using the iPhone's GPS capabilities.

When you about to head into its operation, you simply open RunKeeper and click the "Start" button. From that point, assuming you have a pretty decent the GPS signal tracking RunKeeper its operation with military precision. In fact it is so accurate that you will be surprised how accurate the map is generated when receiving you have completed execution.

Moreover, this small jewel of an application provides to:

• the exact distance has covered in its execution
• the pace of his career with a trend graph that shows when and where you run faster and when it was running slowly

What is RunKeeper?

The real beauty of this application and how much to actually help When running to lose weight is that it provides a real help when it comes to motivate yourself to increase the intensity of their careers.

How does lose weight by running?

I've started to set goals each time to a minimum to beat my previous run time of 5 seconds. Knowing that can accurately track the running time and distance allows me to measure my success with ease. Before I would have to guess a little, well the motivation to beat my previous times and would not be as strong or as clear.

Any problems with this wonderful little app?

Surprisingly there are a lot of applications like this, starting to appear in the App Store. All of them are however less than RunKeeper, but in terms of the features they contain and in their accuracy.

RunKeeper is not without its flaws is through either. The great big complaint now is that it is absolutely sucks the battery life of the iPhone. You will not run marathons any use of this app any in the short term unless you are a world record marathon runner! However, for shorter distance running and jogging, RunKeeper is perfect. I'm sure with future versions of the application, it will solve some of the battery problems drainage.

RunKeeper I think a great way to compare the statistics of my running into my overall weight loss. There is no better motivation to reach the final a week and looking for my weight loss for the week as opposed to running miles covered. Now I can easily see that in recent weeks in which to really increase the pace and intensity that I lose more weight – pure and simple. Before you start using RunKeeper I knew it was probably the case, but I had no way of monitoring for sure if this was the case. Now I can do this easily.

A version admitted free of ads and no professional version you can pay if you like the application as much as I do not have any ads.
